By cultivating a connection with soil and flowers, one can cultivate a greater appreciation for life
My story
As someone who enjoys arranging flowers and creating things with clay, I have found that these activities have been a great source of healing and cheering for me. No matter what challenges I may be facing, sitting down at my worktable with a vase of fresh flowers or a lump of clay always helps me to feel more grounded and centered.
There is something incredibly therapeutic about the process of working with flowers . Arranging flowers is a practice that brings me a great deal of joy and contentment. As I carefully choose the flowers and foliage to include in my arrangement, I feel like I'm creating a small work of art. There is something incredibly satisfying about selecting the perfect colors and textures to complement one another, and seeing the finished product come together.
Likewise, as I mold and shape s clay object with my hands, I feel a sense of connection to the earth and to the ancient art of pottery. It's as if I'm tapping into something primal and elemental, something that has been a part of human culture for thousands of years
One of the things I love most about my work is the way it allows me to connect with people from all walks of life. Whether it's a bride-to-be looking for the perfect wedding flowers or a collector seeking a one-of-a-kind pottery piece, I love being able to bring joy and beauty into people's lives.
