Cost: 7 sessions for $462 ($66 per session) Clay/backing tools are not included (basic white clay costs around $23) / Tools cost around $10.
Participants: 4-6 people Minimum of 4 people required to open the class.
Content: The class focuses on forming techniques. We will work on creating dining plates, mugs, cups, trays, dessert bowls, etc. I will assist and guide you in achieving your desired results. For smaller projects, you can create up to 2 items, but for beginners, it's recommended to focus on one item in the given time frame. The class does not include glazing, but you can use underglaze paint to draw pictures. (In this case, you can use only white glaze as the background color.) At 1644studio, we only use blue underglaze paint. Basic glazing will be done by me, and you can choose the desired color. All products are food safe, and we use only high-quality materials.
Pick up your result : You can pick up your finished work 4-6 weeks later. (Pick up only, no delivery)
Note: Some clays may not wash off your clothes, so please wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. During the forming process, there may be bubbles or damage due to temperature differences in the kiln. In such cases, I will still provide the finished work, but I will do my best to prevent such situations during the process.
